Development of three parcels on Harvard Road in Orange Village included a new location
for the highly anticipated Cooper's Hawk restaurant. Boulevard Studios prepared the landscape plans for the acre-and-a-half site,
using materials that would reflect and continue the design work begun on the public rights-of-way along Harvard and the Orange Place extension.
The design was complementary to the building, as well, playing off the rustic yet modern architecture of this popular wine-themed bar and restaurant.
The firm's expertise in all-season landscape design is apparent from every angle. With a bulk of the parking at the rear, diners are greeted with the softness
of upright junipers against warm wood textures, flowering ornamentals that wrap imposing corners. Just outside the restaurant's patio, the canopy of birch trees
provide added shade while their ornamental bark lends interest and an opportunity for dramatic night uplighting.
